I think my answer to every problem in life is, “Is there an app for that?”
So now that my tracking sheet for the 21 Day Fix is up…I’m looking for an app. I kept thinking of what I wanted and it hit me–why not use the “Reminders” app in my iPhone for this? (sorry Droid and other phone users–this is probably something you can’t do, but I get you can do it with a similar program. If you figure it out, post below and let us know!)
So I figured it out. First off–see the “Reminders” app pointed to in the photo above? OK, open that.
You then create a New List. I give it a title based on the container and make the list color the same as the container color:
I then go into the list and add a new item for each serving I need of that:
I go through that for each food group and here is what I end up with (oh and don’t worry, I’m not gonna eat my kids! That’s another to-do list I have in there!)
As I go throughout the day, I just check off what I had after I eat:
I love this because I can look at my phone and right with one glance I can see what I have left for the day:
Then at the end of the day, you just uncheck all of the boxes and start fresh the next day!
Quite honestly, this is MUCH easier than doing the book–I always lose my book–rarely EVER do I lose my phone since it is always near me!
